Lucy Lane didn’t start with a business plan; it started with a crochet hook at age eight. For the last thirty years, I’ve been a woman obsessed with the art of the thread. I spent my teens knitting, my twenties weaving and spinning my own yarn, and my thirties finally finding my forever craft in needlepoint. I’ve spent a lifetime learning the rules of fiber arts just so I could help you break them.

At Lucy Lane, we believe needlepoint should be as vibrant and fun as the people who stitch it. Our shop at 44 South is a curated collection of everything I love: heirloom quality, modern design, and a little bit of wit. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or picking up a needle for the first time, we’re here to help you create something your grandkids will fight over, but until then, let’s just enjoy the process.
